Chipmaker LSI is wishing to enhance networking performance and versatility using its ARM-based Axxia 4500 processor family, introduced Monday. ARM-based processors would be best noted for running mobile phones and pills. However the British company’s technology may also be utilized in next-generation switches and hubs for businesses and knowledge centers, if LSI is effective
